No pilot bearing??

Default No pilot bearing??

I took down my tranny on my 2000 trans am to do my clutch but there is no pilot bearing?

be thankful!

I have broken two pilot bearing pullers and the third(blind hole puller) just does not get the job done.

you need one or your input shaft bearings will die along with other issues.

Maybe someone did a clutch swap and did not put one in after removing.....for some reason

since there isn't one to remove....putting in one is EASY.

Ther is something else in ther but it's not a bearing. Is it possible a GTO tranny uses something else?

Someone replaced it with a bushing....
