Another one from 1320 video. Pretty self explanatory I think. It's an old jag with full interior, plush, total 70s luxury. It's also got a turbocharged LQ9 up front with a 76mm turbo. That full roll cage isn't just for show.


I don't know if this guy in on the forum, but I do know there's another similar thread going on right now. Project DEAD-CAT is building up a 99' Jag with LS power and boost.

This guy is a customer of ours. It has a CBM built engine running E85. Its a really cool car and he is always taking it down the track. I believe it is also his daily driver. The owner loves eating Z06's alive in a stock looking Jag!

Hey, thats me you are talking about with the '99 xj8.

Swaps into the older Jags are easy as the gages are not computer controlled. It's hard to find an older one that does not have rot, electrical issues or major (expensive) brake issues. The trans tunnel is rather small compared to my '99 as it fits a 4L80e with room to spare.

I am shooting for daily driven low 10's at 3900 lbs curb weight. We shall see.

so subtle and so quick!
I think the boost is still under 10psi too !
