What you guys think about my new project. got a lq4 long block. thinking about short block with fully ported 5.3 heads. and a off shelf cam. biggest without cutting pistons. valve springs. vic jr. 850ish. carb. Proform? Would go with 317 heads and custom grind cam but that would blow the budget for me at this time. So what do ya think. 3000LB 3200 STALL. 4:10s.

Sounds pretty stout for sure. I'm running fully ported 5.3 heads on a 6.0 370 LQ9 with a good size cam, and 11.5:1 compression. It runs strong. Where in MI are you?
