Default Roots blower + LSX?

Just logged on and saw some random pics of a mid 60's vette with a roots blower sticking out of the hood. Dunno what motor lies beneath but it makes me wonder.... has anyone run an old school 6 or 8-71 on an LS motor? Everything FI seems to revolve around centrifugal, Maggy types or turbos, but nothing has the visual impact of the old school S. Would take some plumbing work intake wise I imagine.

Here is a thread on a 408 running a 10-71, Ended up blowing up on the Dyno. I bought about 80% of the parts and will be resurrecting it.

Cool S man. Sucks you had so much trouble. Would have love to seen that thing go down the track.

Whats the status of the project now?

That's not my build thread, I just bought many of the parts after he decided to go big block.
It will be a while before I get it put back together, Plan is to put it in a 51 Chevy 5 window truck.
