Where are you guys buying lsx motors is San Antonio? I moved from Houston recently and I was wondering where you guys in San Antonio are purchasing your motors from. In Houston I knew what junk yard to go to, but here my only resource is craigslist.

Man when I lived I Houston I would usually go to tex-mex on airline closer to frys on west road. They used to be around 400 all day complete sometimes with the harness, but now you have to push to get that price. I have probably bought fifteen from them and only one was bad.... they swapped it out for me. Seems lick everyone on craigslist wants and arm and a leg for even a 4.8 these days. Thanks for the info btw!

I have 50-80k mile 5.3's for $950 complete down to the ac compressor with harness, 30 day warranty. I can get blocks too if y'all are just swapping blown motors.
Craigslist 5.3's are always missing stuff. That $550 engine gets expensive real quick when adding up missing pulleys, flex plate bolts you name it. I miss the good ol days when a craigslist 6.0 was $800.
