Default is it worth the 900

doing a turbo 5.3 build in my 98 s10
2001 5.3 out of tahoe

tc78
.550" cam
80# injectors
trunion kit
push rods
ls7 lifters
ls6 head gaskets

blah blah blah

now my question is im gonna use my stock truck manifold with rails and throttle body. is worth the 900 for the victor jr manifold, edelbrock efi elbow and the edelbrock 90mm throttle body.

If you're blowing on it and aren't chasing huge numbers, I'd suggest spending the money elsewhere.

Ls9 gaskets and a transmission that can hold the abuse

Stock48 went low 8's with a truck intake turbo 6.0 setup.

No way. Fr8train puts over 1240 to the wheels with stock ls1 intake and throttle body.

+1 - When you're running FI I believe the intake and TB are not as important as in a NA engine. The air is pushing no matter what with FI!

thanks for the replys. looks like ill keep my stock intake. the turbo manifolds are going to be hooker manifolds with vbands on them. im way to busy with work to build a set of headers for my own vehicle. plus I have twin daughters that keep me busy in between projects. ill post some pics when I get so progress worth posting.

what about fuel rails my factory ones good for 600rwhp. I have cobra jets 80# injectors. 8an feed and 6an return.

Quick Reply: is it worth the 900
