Default school me on progressive control for 6 speed

Is there a controller out there that will lock out first gear activation? And if I get a normal progressive controller will it reset everytime I change gears? Ive used a lot of nitrous in the past but on a manual car is a first for me. Im use to the gas coming on as the transbrake goes off. Anyone have some direction for me

To answer your questions, yes and yes.

Max 4

This controller has a built in window switch, built in TPS, options for AFR activation, time based, it has 1st gear lockout, and the option to reset or hold the ramp everytime you shift. It is an awesome piece, I've got one on my car. If you have anymore questions let me know..

That looks very promising. From what I read it looks like it will read the tps and rpm on my 99 vette. Am I correct on that? If so ill order one. And how does it go about locking out 1st, will I just use the time based function?

Yes it will work great. It looks for a drop in RPM, and reads off the RPM. It's all programmable, so you can really fine tune it. It does have a time based ramp. You could set it up however suits you best. Give me a call when you are ready to order and I will get you taken care of!

Thanks pal.

Go to their website and read the description and the pdf. It seems the max 4 does just about everything except fill the bottle for you.
