Default How to modify stock transmission crossmember on Foxbody

ordered a AJE trans crossmember but it does not fit way too short the bushing need like 2 inches to fit. Was wondering how you all went about modifying the stock mustang member to fit. Any pictures will be really helpful. Thanks in advance. I am using a 4cylinder cross member

ended up using the stock one too and welded a piece on top with holes drilled. I did use the 4cyl that hos one hump so exhaust is going to be one tube or maybe i can still fabricate a dual exhaust.

Build one out of 1" tubing. Cut the mounting ends off the stock mount, bend tubing for application, weld on piece of angle and have it done for practically free.
