Default drain transmission?

Do I have to drain the transmission of my t56 if I am only going to pull it out a few inches to get to the slave cylinder?

no.....you will have to remove the driveshaft however then when you actually drop the trans a little bit, fluid will pour out of the tail. the solution is to either drain it or get a driveshaft plug and slip it into the tail before un bolting the trans
