Default TT Twin Intercoolers setup in CAD....

The plan is to use a pair of GT3582R's, they have a 2.5" outlet from the compressor, question is do i keep that size all the way though till they merge to the 4" Y piece or do I step it up to 3" before if so where before the cooler after and can anyone tell me why ??

The Intercoolers will be made specials so i can make then what ever is best..

Goals are 1000-1200 Crank HP

Thanks for any advice..

I've seen a few setups now that have stepped up pipework from the Turbo to the Intercooler, but I'm a guy that's always ask the question why for what reason....

Although a single 4in has a bit more area than twin 2.5, twin 2.5 can more than handle anything twin 3582r's can move.

Considering that, I would just keep the pipes leading to the merge at 2.5. Anything bigger could hurt response but would not gain power.

Clive, that power figure keeps on going up mate! You will be gunning for 1500bhp before long.

Yes bud it's hard not to keep thinking about just a little more boost......
Really 7-800 Crank will be the default setting I.E. lowest boost pressure I can control, but I don't want to limit anything if I don't have to..
But than again the clutch is limiting me to 920lbs at present....

Sure thing. Also fwiw, the Tial stainless v-band housings for these turbos are very nice and simplifies the installation.
