Default starting a new lt1 build need advice

Hi guys
I am wanting to start a 383 lt1 build. I was going to do a prochager build but they are a little pricey so I'm am going n/a. I have a set of conventional sbc heads from a project that is now sold. What dose it take to make the 23 degree heads work on the lt. If it is not worth it I may just sell them and get something else. The heads are jegs brand 2.10 intake and 1.60 ext with unported 220 cc runners. I was just looking for some input.

Look at the difference in the water pump gaskets and you'll see it is not a viable option for most to convert SBC heads to reverse cooling LT1 heads.

if i were you i would look for a set of used stock aluminum lt1 heads (classifieds, craigslist etc.). i reused the stock aluminum heads that came off the lt1 that came in my car and had a machine shop go through them and port them as well as install upgraded springs

I think competition performance or someone was doing it for $400, but the you'd need a super Vic and an elbow and a cowl hood and a ls1 tb and rails and blah blah
