Default a couple quick kills

driving home from my buddies, sitting at a light next to a new 5.0. I know it was manual, and it sounded really good so i assume some type of exhaust. 'it was a dark blue, and the guy caught me admiring it, so I gave him a thumbs up. light goes green, he leaves it in first and rolls, and i see that hes game for a slow roll. he beeps three times so fast i barely even realize whats happening and takes off. I stopped his pull at his door and pulled ahead a bit. shut down around 90 with a decent lead. gave the guy a thumbs up and continued. then an sti that must have witnessed wanted a race. it was loud, back window covered in stickers, stanced out, typical bro driver laughing at my car with his friends. He caught me at a light, launches like crazy when it goes green. he jumped out a car, but i passed him pretty easily, and put a few lengths on him. he drove by after and flipped me off... what a cool guy. he wanted to race. not my fault he spent money on stretched tires and fancy rims instead of go fast mods...lol.

thanks! custom tick cam, 3800 stall, bolt ons. the car made 382 on a mustang dyno, with an unlocked converter, running rich needing more timing. it was retuned, with better exhaust so id say close to 390-400rwhp.

Holy *****! Now I'm just impressed that he hung around as long as he did. Nice setup man.

I was wondering where you've been lately. Good kills man!

I really like Sti's. For a DD I would love one. I just hate their typical owners.

LOL, Just wait, you will hear how he raced you and you Sprayed him to win next week.

Where you at? we should be a close race, I am having issues so mines at my tuners. 6.0L stock block and heads, 406RWHP on a mustang dyno (on Motor)

I'd say you're faster. I'm in ny. Had two more races this morning! I'll post them up.

Thanks. I think it needs gears. 3rd gear feels so slow

The Mustang? A Stock 6 speed 5.0 is deep into the 12s. They make 380-390 WHP out of the box. I'd say it was a good race

The amount of money I was dumping into my Mustang seriously hurt for the minimal gains I was getting. Seemed great at first coming from 4 cylinder cars but faded once I saw what LS engines were gaining.

The Camaro I just bought was faster without a cam than my Mustang was with a cam.

Yea, 5.0s are quick. I raced a stock six speed when I had just bolt ons, with my stall. Wdged him out by barely a nose. They are quick

I'm well aware that coyotes haul ***, but with hatan's mod list, I'm impressed that he was that close. That's a nice setup on the f-bod.
