Default Is my carb going to be too small?

My boss was gracious enough to give me a like new 670 CFM Holley street avenger carb. From what I'm reading a 750 would be ideal.

My setup

2800lb fox mustang

Lc9 5.3 with 241 heads

Comp thumpr cam

2600stall

Hedman hustler headers 2.25' dual exhaust

Performer rpm intake

3.55ish gears (to be decided later)

Not at all. Do some research on the 670 avenger carb and I bet you'll find it will work. Just make sure to get the internals setup for your needs. You might find that it will be lean or rich and need tuned.

It will work great. Just hold back a couple HP. Nothing special.
