Default Intake differences from EGR and non EGR models

Hello, I have 99 TA that has the EGR and my 99 Formula didn't have EGR. That intake was replaced with the LS6 intake. It had a block off from factory.

Are there any other differences or benefits of either intake?

I will be removing the EGR from the TA and painting the intake gloss black. which intake should I paint and install?

the egr intake is the ls1 intake. the ls6 intake has no egr and makes a little more power, even on a stock engine.

I believe the vette ls1 intake has no egr as well so beware of those.

Guess I wasnt clear...

What are the differences or advantages of:

LS1 intake with EGR .. VS. .. LS1 intake without EGR (factory block off)

Is the block off the only difference?

Some LS6 intakes had the blockoff and others had no provisions at all for the EGR

This is a stock 99 intake with the same block off that the ls6 intakes had. Car was bone stock and when i bought it so I seriously doubt the EGR had been removed from the Formula.
