Default T56 troubles

Hey, having trouble with my trans, while screaming down the track at WOT the car doesnt want to shift into 3rd gear,, its very hard to get it in, if it even goes in at all. Sometimes it will grind aswell. Besides 3rd, i'm finding it also hard to shift in to 2nd and 4th under WOT. I did the drill mod few years back, and the car was fine until this past season.

Anyone have any idea what could be going on??

Maybe time for a rebuilt kit?

Either you're having clutch disengagement issues, or the shift keys could broken/breaking. How does it feel under normal driving?

Its fine during normal driving,, It is also easier shifting at lower RPMs, say 5500rpm vs 6700rpm at wot.

If its fine under normal driving, I would look at the hydraulics first, your master cylinder could be on its way out not disengaging the clutch all the way. Once you're sure that the clutch isn't the issue, the synchronizer rings could be getting tired and having a hard time "slowing things down" at 6700 but would still work at lower RPM, though it'll get worse as they wear.

The gear box has seen its fair share of abuse, so I might freshen it up and make it a bit stronger..
Any one recommend a decent upgrade kit to handle 475whp.. probably going see a 150 shot aswell?

What clutch and how much power? Does it pass the rev test in gear without creeping?

Put in gear, clutch in, foot off the brake, rev it up and if it creeps forward, you're not disengaging all the way.
