Question 2010 LS3 6L80 swap help

I'm doing a LS3-6L80 swap into a 70 Chevelle. Both the engine and trans modules have circuit 5985(accessary wake up). It comes from the BCM and I don't quite understand if it is needed and what it does.

Default

"Accessory wake up" originates at the ign switch and passes thru the BCM then out to various modules. It is part of the power moding and RAP creature-features.

May set a power mode code (no SES light) but will run fine without it.

Default LS3 Swap

My LS3 swap is finally done. Very little problems except for the power steering. I'm using the stock 2010 Camaro p/s pump. I have no power steering at an idle. At about 1200 RPMs, power steering is great. I changed the power gearbox on the Chevelle thinking that could be the problem (seeing it was the original) but it didn't help. Is the pump too week for a gearbox because it's made for a Rack? Any help would be appreciated.
