I know this will seem stupid to some but has anyone seen for sale small 3" diameter catalytic converter inserts that go inside long tube headers? its for a non f body project where ground clearance and emmisions are both a concern,

I had a set of Jet-Hot headers where the cats were
inserts to the Y-pipe (optionally, you could use the
hollow inner pipe sections also provided). But these
were not up in the header, per se. They occupied a
couple of short regions of expanded tube in the Y
(between segments).
They are probably the least durable cat style out there,
blower guys used to eat them up quick. Looked like
somebody just stuffed some Chore-Boy scrubbers up
the pipe segment, nothing robust about it.
