I bought a cheap LQ4 with a rod knock. It's the early LQ4 with iron heads and a long crank. I have a good LS1 crank and 317 heads, so this thing was a perfect candidate for my build. I disassembled the engine and the the #1 piston has the spun bearing and has a broken ring land as well as damage to the big end of the rod.

I'm looking for a good piston and rod. I don't know what all the different LQ4 pistons and rods were, but it's the pressed pin kind with the cross on the piston. The ones I've found on ebay that are suppose to be the same year look different. Here are a couple pics of the bad one. If someone has a good one laying around let me know, thanks.

I have a brand gm new press in pin piston and I'm sure I have a good used rod. Also have a brand new set of gm rings for it. Lmk if interested.
