Yea.."held his own" for Comfort Mode...then the 5.0 got circumcised in Sport Mode. LOL

I mean...from 1:02-1:10 it looked like the GT500 had the e-brake on so I'd give the 5.0 a little more credit then again, I don't have audio where I'm at now so I can't hear if even hits/etc.

The GT500 obviously is the faster car from a higher roll. Both suh-weet rides!

Um...is everyone being sarcastic about the "sport" mode? Pretty sure that just stiffens up the shocks.

It has to with suspension and steering. I would say the GT500 was starting in a gear up for traction.

RTR package is nothing but some rims/spoiler/front lip and side along with wheels.

Its a pretty stacked rtr. Every bolt on possible and e85 its pretty quick

Surprised by the RTR myself. I expected Shelby domination. Especially in "sport mode".

Good run... but where are you guys getting your hp numbers from? And whats that 5.0 weigh? I dont make 460-490 and have already taken down a well driven stock 14 GT500. Also Ive never seen a stock GT500 make 620whp. They are good for about 580 locally.

Here 2 different 13 gt500 made 594whp and 601 on 2 different dynos. One went 11.8@127 bone stock with a 2.1 60ft. Same ine made 594. Tune made 637whp.

I guess in every area it varies. My buddy in his '13 5.0 with Boss Manifold, Longtubes, O/R X, and muffler deletes made 445whp at AED.


I was surprised with the outcome for sure though. 5.0 did pretty well.

Light rims, full exhaust, boss, cai, DS, ctp dyno tune I made 464whp on very aggressive tune.
