MSD 6ls-2 crank trigger lead too short.
Something is amiss with my new 58x msd ignition controller.
I have an 08 LC9 in a fox mustang. My problem is no matter how I arrange the harness I don't have enough length on the crank trigger wire to reach the plug down by the starter. This lead being about a foot and a half long.
But what is strange is that the lead labeled and color coded for the cam sensor is about three feet long even though that sensor is in a easy to reach location with ample access not very far from the box mounting location on the intake.
Any help will greatly be appreciated.

Make sure you have the right box. I originally tried installing a 6010 box (24x) on my 58x motor and had the same issue. They swapped the sensor positions when they went to the Gen IV set up.
See if the connectors even fit. The cam sensor should be using the extension harness, and that has a slightly smaller plug than the cam sensor itself.

The sticker on the box itself says it's for the 58x reluctor wheel.
The crank sensor wire is so short no matter where I go I've got the main part of the harness stuck up against the header to even get close to the plug.
I will check the connector types when I get home later
