Don't have a GTO yet, plan to buy after basic. Just goofing around adding up prices on everything I plan to do to it. I want to get the BBK 80mm intake and throttle body. But I also want to run a plate nitrous system. I know I can get a 90,92,or 102mm but Im watching prices. Will a 78mm plate fit a 80mm intake. Or could I "hollow" the plate out that extra 2mm and be okay. I know I could run direct injection but I like the plate idea. Thanks guys.

Well if you get a 05-06 Gto those have the ls2 with factory 90mm intake/throttle body. Then you can buy the nitrous outlet 90mm gto plate kit. Just bought a 06 myself.

I have the BBK 85mm intake on my LS1..Ran a 78mm plate and throttle body for a while. I ended up finding a 85mm plate and bought a 85mm throttle body to match. But to answer your question the 78mm plate will work
