Can someone explain to me the advantage an I-1 offers vs say a maxed out d1 with a bov and a boost controller

The i-1 is going to have much cooler inlet air temps due to it's design. You can dial it from low boost of high boost instantly. A maxed out D-1SC is going to be producing hotter inlet air temps. There are more than just one video at the above link, so keep watching. Bob
