Default 64 Corvette LS Build W/ Art Morrison Chassis

Heres where it all started got the ca,r already had a LS1 in it but had a stock drivetrain, with 4 speed and stock chassis everything pretty original but not for long

Interior

LS1 only has 33000 miles on it

Tryin to figure out the stance for the new chassis these are the tire we will see if we can get them under the car and get the look we want

After all the math and backspacing and help from Scott at Art Morrison the Chassis has arrived

Stripped everything out

Out with the old

Had to cut the rear floor out in order to fit the new rear suspension an bigger tires with the narrower frame

Let the fitting and Fabbing begin

I am curious to see how you like the Morrison chassis. My brother has been considering similar option for his 61'.

Cool build. Why did you decide against an IRS setup? Is this going to be a drag car?

No not a drag car but 600 HP to the rear wheels. I have used some of the Art Morrison suspension before and had great luck with it. Should handle as good as the new ones we will find out

Fabbed up Body Mount

Here I used a replacement captured nut for the rear body mount on top of the mount I fabbed not pictured is the rear mount but i made it removable to make it easy to get the body on and off. Ifyou have ever taken one of these bodies off you know thw bottom of the rear quarter hangs up we fixed that LOL

If you look on this pis at the front of the frame rails are the front mounts had to do a little trimming for the big *** sway bar but its strong and works perfect

Should make the back out of lexan thats to pretty to cover up LOL
