I've tried searching but cannot seem to figure out where the IAT sensor should be moved to. I'll be placing the methanol injection nozzle in between the TB and maf and think the IAT should be between the TB and method nozzle is this correct ?

Current set up IAT is attached to the bung on the aluminum Procharger plenum.

you want your IAT either in the intake or directly in front of the throttle body. then your methanol in front of the IAT, then your MAF. then your BOV/BPV

so...

TB>IAT>METH>MAF>BOV

In between the TB and the Meth injection is the correct placement.

If youre using meth jsut to control detonation , then id put it just before the tb. If youre using it to add timing when it comes on then you need to put it infront of the IAT, so id put it a couple of inches behind the MAF. and atleast 6 inches, if possible in front of the IAT

Thanks for all of the input guys i think I've figured it out. I'll install it in the intake if all else fails since I have silicone tubing and not metal from the plenum to the intake.

I don’t agree with placing the IAT in front of the meth injection for a few reasons.

#1 You will get a false low IAT reading from the meth/water building up on the temp probe and evaporating.
#2 If you are using the IAT to control fueling to the motor this will throw the tune out of wack.

IMO it’s much better to put the IAT at the back top of the intake manifold where it won’t have fluid sprayed directly on it. Even there it still may get fluid on the probe and give skewed readings. But it won’t be nearly as bad as placing the sensor directly in front of the nozzle.
