Default ls1 vs truck spark plug wire difference?

Have a quick question for you guys.

prior to me knowing that there were differences in lengths between the truck and ls1 spark plug wires, I ordered a set of ls1 wires for my 4.8 block. needless to say they dont fit, but what I have not been able to find in my searches the last couple of days is why the ls1 plug wires are shorter?

is the length made up in valve cover/ignition coil bracket differences? the coils are interchangeable as well as the heads. trying to figure out if i can swap something out to use these plug wires later on.

appreciate the help,

I think the trk wires are a little bit longer because they sit higher/toward the intake..just my guess??

Yes, truck wire are generally a little bit longer-depending on which coils were used.

I'm running the round truck coils with the heat sinks with their correct matching brackets in the stock location and GM LS7 wires were the perfect length.
