Stroker car with dry kit for daily use?
I recently purchased a 99ss M6. The car has a partially installed NOS 5177 dry kit on it. I would like to finish the install with a WOT switch, FPSS, and Mallory window switch I have laying. The goal would be to use a remote bottle valve and pretty much have a ZERO MAINTENANCE kit activated 100% of the time while the car is in use so its always ready when I need it I would like to keep the jetting around 75hp so I can get plenty of life out of the bottle. I have a couple questions...but first here are some notes on the build...
TSP LS2 402 stroker (Eagle crank, Eagle H-beams, Diamond dished pistons) ~ 10.9:1scr
Patriot Stage 3's
244/248 112lsa - .620 lift with Comp Pro Mag 1.85's (starts floating about 6500)
Fast 92 ported to approx. 95mm, 95mm TB, 100mm MAF
FAST 36lb injectors (41lb when ran at 58psi)
Stock fuel pump, lines, rails, regulator
NA tune yielded 471whp @6200rpm per the tuner (Mike Norris)
OK...with all that in mind...
A) Do you think my injectors can handle the additional 75hp dry kit?
B) How about the stock fuel pump?
C) What about my tune/plugs? I really don't want to give anything up NA...I'd rather keep the shot small enough that I don't have to water down the tune...
I know...a hell of a lot of reading for a little 75hp shot, but please humor me

A) Not sure about those 36lb injectors since it's a dry kit
B) I'm thinking that stock fuel pump will be very maxed out
C) What plugs do you have now, and what are they gapped at?

So what size injector would be needed in your opinion?
As for pump I was already eyeing one of those Racetronix kits for $150 and a hotwire kit...I assume this would be adequate?
I think I have TR55's but I need to check. I know the gap would need to be closed to .035'ish on whatever plug I use...doubt that would change anything while NA anyways.

Yeah I run a Racetronix kit (255 Walbro and hotwire kit) and it does fine for me at around 550 rwhp on the 100 shot. I run 42lb injectors but i'm running a wet kit, so I would go with at least that. If the TR55's are working for you now with no issues then you will "probably" be okay lol, but i'd rather see something at least like a TR6.

Small update...I pulled a plug and they are AC Delco 12.
I'm not familiar with this plug. Is it appropriate for my HCI 402 set up N/A, or on the 75 shot?
They look like they are due to be replaced...anybody know what the NGK equivalent would be? My searching makes me suspect it may cross with the NGK BP5ES but I couldn't find a good chart. Can anybody comfirm?

A. Your injectors should be fine with Fuel Pressure at 58 psi.
B. For sure upgrade your fuel pump & wiring harness... http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/380797162094?lpid=82
C. You can run Full timing on the street & pull timing as soon as you power up or arm your nitrous system with the Lingenfelter LNC 2000 Timing computer.
They say the LNC 2000 is the best timing computer for LS engines because it comes with a plug & play harness for ease of installation. ( Adjustable depending on your shot of N20).
D. It would also be a good idea to run a Lingenfelter window switch to turn your nitrous ON at 3000 rpm & OFF at 6000 rpm so your factory Fuel Cutoff / Rev Limiter does not cause a lean condition by cutting off fuel pressure at 6200 rpm while you are injection nitrous into your motor. Ka-Boom !

This is how I'm wiring up my dry shot. I Tune my own stuff and the PCM will handle the timing and extra fuel when pulling the trigger.

Are U sure that your injectors are OK?
For the OP - I would think your current injector duty cycle is close now NA since you have a 402 CI engine and it appears to be moving a lot of air through it. Not sure about the valve float.
I am currently running bigger injectors on 346 CI engine.
I think the fuel pump upgrade is needed right away.
I hope this helps!

You use the FPSS the same way as you do on a wet kit. It is installed on the fuel rail and it shuts the nitrous off if fuel pressure drops too low.
