Default Cts-v weight reduction.

Ok guys so I deleted my old post of wiring removal for weight savings and just decided to put title as weight reduction. Interior of my V is completely stripped. No seats, floor mat, sound system, dash, power windows(in process) And trying to remove all wiring as possible. That's my hault, anybody help me on all the wire I can get rid of and what I need to keep? Car is for drag/street. Thanks

Naf is a good person to ask but he is on cadillac forums. He even took a grinder to wleds to cut down the weight and used all titanium nuts and bolts.

Solid axle swap would probably drop 80-100lbs.

It's unique and their cheap enough, so why not? I know people don't like what I've done to my car, but I do.

Explain to me how removing 2 pounds of wire is going to make you faster.

This.

There is a lot of wiring in these cars that is linked together in one way or another. I am sure that you could take the time to cut down the entire wiring harness in the car if you have the time, patience and wiring know how. Will it be worth it, though? Highly doubtful. Your time and efforts are better spent elsewhere on the car.

Is it really only 2 pounds? Cause if you haven't taken your car apart and seen the wires under the pretty upholstery im pretty sure its.s more than 2 pounds. Ill post a pic. Where exactly is this heavy plate? I think it's removed but not sure

I haven't looked into it at all but can the huge reinforcement of the backseat be removed while still retaining basic functionality of it?
