I wrapped mine but sorry dont have any good info figuring the car has yet to run. It was a little bit of a pain in the ***. Probably used 20 ft of wrap per manifold (1 layer) and you have to keep pulling it through if you want to keep it 1 piece like i did.

I was wondering the same. Is coating enough or just wrap or both?

I just coated the manifolds and wrapped the hot side. I have nothing to compare to as far as how much it helped compared to nothing, but it doesn't just seem like a heat wave comes out when you open the hood after the pass, so I'm going to call it good enough.

I wrapped mine. If you shoot them with a temp gun they are about 100 degrees cooler right after a pass than they were b4 I did the wrap. Some guys swear it helps with spool up but i didn't see much difference.

LOL it is fun, I did mine dry and had fibers flying as i was pulling it thru was itching like crazy. If you do wrap it do yourself a favor and get a 50 ft roll or even 25 ft i used a 50 and the first wrap took a while pulling the 50ft thru.
