Default Fuel pump questions

So, I'm getting a code for the slave pump going out. I can watch my pressure drop from around 62 at idle, to about 56 at WOT at 4k rpm. I'm about to go in and put a better pump. What are my options here? I don't need anything serious, as the stock pump with a boostapump is hadling everything the maggie can do. I just want to upgrade. Is the slave pump available separately? I guess I could just get a new one, and throw a walbro in? Suggestions are needed!

Id get a 255 with the racetronix hotwire kit. Thatll get you around 550rwhp. Never been a fan of boost a pumps.

Thanks guys. I ended up getting a full new ac delco unit for 250. I know it's prolly not the best, but I'm going to cut an access panel for this bad boy, so when I decide to upgrade, it'll be easy. So far the boostapump has served me well. The one that came with the maggie crapped out, but this kenne bell one has served me well.

Not sure if you are aware but it is 2 different units, the fuel pump and then the sender unit I linked. Which is the code throwing? I just replaced my pump also with a new ac pump but I didn't replace the sender.

Cutting the panel was easy and I just followed the directions on here

I already cut the panel, but the pump won't be here til tomorrow. It was throwing a code for the jet pump. Hopefully the jet pump is in the main unit. I'd assume it is, because it looks like theres only a connector for the sender on the one you linked.

I ended up ditching the boost-a-pump in mine and going with the aeromotive. I'd recommend that since you'll be in there anyway.

I'll take pics later. I used a die grinder and cut off wheel. I'll prolly be going back in with the boost a pump and hotwire kit with a better pump at some point, but for now, a factory pump is doing more than I need. I'll have to ditch the Maggie and pick up something better before I need any more fuel. I have a safe tune, and have meth on top of that.

The overheating is caused by cavitation due to the limits of our bucket. You would be better off running a secondary pump that doesn't use our bucket.

Or you can add meth

Im at 610 to the wheels with a DW300 and KB booster. Without meth I was running 585. With meth its 615
