Default Perma Plate + Clay Bar = Good/Bad?

Mom has a 2003 Black VW Passat.

She has the perma plate on there (if the perma plate is good or bad lets not bother getting into) if I clay bar it, will it take off the perma plate?

Thanks

Ditto that...What is Permaplate? I use clay bar all of the time and it is VERY safe, even on non-cleat coated paint applications. I use the "poly-clay" a synthetic version.
