Default Caprice ICM's?

Hey guys, i'm having a problem with my ignition control module. I spaced it from the head, and it stopped turning my SES light on for a while, but now its back. O was just gonna go to a junkyard and get one, but lt1 f bodies almost never make it the yard. But theres plenty of caprices there. Would a ICM from a caprice work on an fbody? If so, would it matter if it were a 4.3 car or a 5.7 car? Thanks for any help.

Do ICM's even throw SES lights? I didn't think they did. Otherwise they're available new on rockauto still.

Its throwing a ghost code. Kinda hard to explain, but something in the module is baked. Car runs and stuff fine, a little rich and sometimes has a hard time restarting when its warm. I moved the icm away from the head and the problem went away for a few months then came back.
