Default Pic Inside: Is My 2002 Z28's Drivers Side ABS Speed Sensor Missing?

Hello. I have a 3-channel (no traction control) 2002 Z28. The ABS INOP light has been on for a while now. I believe it is because the bottom half of the front passenger side ABS sensor (that connects to the wheel hub) has fallen off.

Please see the attached pics. The first pic shows the missing lower half and the second pic shows the complete front drivers side.

What is the part number that I need? How much will it cost? And how hard will it be to install it? Thank you in advance for any info.

It certainly looks that way from the pictures.

Do the wires in the 2nd picture plug into the back of the wheel hub?

Yes. They do connect to the wheel hub.

The other end connects to the inside of the hub bearing, then it connects to the one you have pictured missing in the first pic. I have exactly that piece I can give you for free If you want to send me a >1lb shipping label. No guarantee it works because it came off a used hub+knuckle(passenger side) from a yard with 49kmiles. I'd say 99.9% it works. let me know, I got sitting in my garage.

I meant LESS than 1lb label, duh. And you can install it in 30 seconds. just make sure you ziptie it out of harms way on the a-arm, just like the drivers side. Make sure you can turn the car both ways to full lock without any tension on the new wire. We don't want it pulling off again now do we? Pm me if you want the wire.

Definitely work with this guy ^ because finding the wire new is tough and you can find them used on Ebay from $15-30.
Not sure how that wire got torn away from the Hub and harness but anything can happen.
As long as the plug on the Hub is not damaged, hooking up the wire will take you a minute or two with the wheel turned.
Here is a picture of the hub and wire and as you can see it literally just plugs in on both ends.

Also on a side note man be careful with the cracking on that tire, it could easily lead to tread separation or a blow out if you hit a pothole just right.

Pretty cool offer from 'crisis above. That should do the trick for you and is relatively simple to install.

I see you're in NJ (I lived there for years too) and the potholes could definitely be an issue for that tire!

The ABS speed sensor from 'crisis worked 50% of the time in keeping the ABS INOP light off. Now, I want to buy a new one to keep that light off. Car Part Kings is selling this piece brand new for $30. Is this the part I need? If not, then where is a good place to buy it brand new? Thank you in advance for the info.

Will this used ABS sensor harness from the front driver side of a 2000 V6 Camaro work on the front passenger side of my 2002 Z28? Thank you in advance for the info.
