Default can this motor handle my HP needs?

So I have been building my car for the past few months and had intentions of putting a stock shortblock in it. I had an engine built a while back for another car with intnetions of only making 700 or 800rwhp. My question is do you think this motor will handle 900-100rwhp and its an 1/8 car only weighing in at 3200.

Iron lq9 block
Stock crank
Mahle forged (4032) pistons flat top 4.030 (10.0:1 with 71cc head)
Eagle H beam rods arp 2000 bolts
ARP mains
Ls2 timing chain
Ls7 lifters
TFS Genx 255 ls3 heads
Hi Ram
E85
Air to water

Hp goals are calculated by my ET goal of 5.2-5.4 and shouldn't take much boost with my top end. What do you guys think? Only real concern I had was the pistons but since I wikl be running E85 and air to water I wonder if it will be an issue.

Almost any forged internal motor should be able to handle 1000 HP.

Most guys run 2618 pistons cause they are stronger but expand more. I have 4032 pistons which can be run at a tighter clearance. Also running good fuel and air to water so I dont see why 1k to the wheels would be ok.

Mainky just wanted some closure or maybe or guys are running these mahle pistons

1k to the wheels on E85 wont be an issue with that compression. Soo your pistons should hold up good with a good tune and a maintaining a safe A/F ratio.

4032 piston will hold ring seal better and last longer on street. 2618 will take more abuse for an all out deal. High flowing heads will make the power on lower boost but it is still making similar cyl psi as a combo with weaker heads and higher boost just slightly less heat. Those heads should make big power either way. I have ran those pistons to that power on gas and engine is still going 5 yrs later.

I'm running mahle 4032's as well at 900-1000rw. Seem to be fine. When tuning or dialing it up you just need to use some sense. Just like stockers. No detonation = pretty strong. Tiny detonation = shatter. The 4032's are more likely to shatter from some knocking than the 2618, but they are strong.

I had the same concerns with my motor, but I feel like it's not an issue at this point.

E85 and A/W should help with any detonation! How fast has your car been?

Thanks everyone for the help I have decided to run the motor with a s476R and see what happens!
