There are a few versions of the Gt45 out there, which compressor size and specs are you aiming for?

Oh no very capable of that hp on high boost. I'm thinking your gonna be around 18psi or more to make that kinda power but very doable . Most of my 5.3's and 5.7's have made 600 easily on 14 pSi and meth.

I will also have to make my kit pipe larger for this turbo to work. Since mine is a 3" vband not a 3.5"

If im not mistaken Denmah made low 600's in a 4.8L and there was a 240sx with a TH400 that made 700+ using 799 heads anda 4.8...if memory serves me right.

Denmah can give you some real world experience.

My GT45 showed up today too.. What kind of heads do you recommend? I have a set of factory 241s laying around for the 5.3. Is the compression still to high with them?

Mine is going on an l33. I'd really like to find a build thread on this turbo. It looks bigger than I imagined but I've never had a turbo before so what do I know? :/

Anyone know if battery relocation is necessary or notching the radiator support?
