Default Super Victor/4150 TB Guys Check In

I'm going this route; I've already determined that. What I'd like to see is pictures of your setup and what all you had to do to your cowl and hood in order to make it fit. Right now, I've got a stock WS6 hood, which I will keep if it can be modified to make everything fit. I'd also like to know if you were able to keep both wipers, only the driver's side wiper, or no wipers at all. If you did have to ditch the wipers, was it because you wanted to, or because there was no way to keep them. Thanks guys, really appreciate it.

No one? What I'm most interested in finding out is who all kept wipers and how you did it.

You need a filter on there and theres no way you'll fit a filter on there without modifying your hood.

Yeah, I know modifying the hood will be a must, but I'm wondering if a stock WS6 hood can be modified to work with the 4150 TB and an air filter to boot.

Hey bro, There's a dude over on another forum that got away with the scorpion TB i believe and a small autozone filter. He did trim away at the wiper cowl considerably however let me see if I can't find the thread this evening.

Thanks, that would be really helpful. I guess I should go on record and say that I will be using the Scoprion 4150 TB. It provides a lot more clearance than all the others, and still flows a **** ton of air. Like I said, I don't mind trimming the cowl or hood, but would like to keep wipers if at all possible, as the car will need to pass inspection.

From personal experience. Not worth it you don't swap cam over. You will have cylinder fill problems. Talk to Martin at tick. Im Going From Ported Super Vic,4150 To Ported fast.

Only one way to do it without an elbow; open 4150 TB or 4150 TB with an air filter on it. The trick is can you do it and keep your wipers? Some have done this, but most have not.

I had to do a little more than most because of my Nitrous setup...
but I cut it back to the window, and built a new lip and added weather strip to seal to my hood

Do any K-Members allow the engine to sit lower (yes, driveline and exhaust problems be damned)? That would help performance actually and free up room under the cowl...

in that picture above, I was using the Spohn Solid Motor mounts and K-member

Later I went to a motor plate and a Custom K-member and lowered the engine about an inch and a half....

at the time there werent any K-members that would allow me to lower the engine, which is why I had to modify the one I had to get lower...
its wasnt really all that hard..just time consuming and I needed a really good welder friend of mine and some extra gussets.

One thing I found out...
If you have to lose the center wiper..you have to lose both wipers...
F-body cars connect to the center wiper first and then over to the drivers side...
Stupid design....
