Default Alternator squeel noise

Hey gents, hope this is the right area. I have a 2000 SS and started having belt noises. I pulled the belt, the tensioner was weak and bearing rough, along with an idler, so I bought new ones and replaced. While the belt was off, I found what seemed to be the ultimate troublemaker, when spinning all the pulleys, the Alt. Pulley made a nails on the chalk board screech. Do I have to replace the whole alt? Since the pulley looks to be mated with the alt's internals, I don't assume a pulley change will solve this issue. Are there any other resolutions? Alt is good and charges great, car always fires right up, am I going to have to fork over the nearly $180 for a new one??? Thanks!

the easiest way unfortunately is to get a new alternator and swap them.
but those bearings are replaceable, i've rebuilt the traditional 10si alternators before and these CS130D alternators aren't much different. just a bearing pressed into the case.
google CS130D bearing
