No he just beat an AED tuned/ X pipe/ 3.55's/ CAI 2013 Mustang GT pretty good. I rode passenger and there really was no competition.

Slower than stock? This 5.0 beat a pullied/ported cobra that made over 480 whp.

you'll feel the wrath of the cobros soon. if you have a bama tune it's like taking spark plugs out of the engine.

Are you sure the camaro was a auto??? It didn't sound like a auto. Would like to see a run between them with the fif gen off the spray. The way it was moving out up top I think it may still win.

i raced a few bolton 5.0 in my cam 5th gen. ipulled them about the same as this video without nitrous.

Not sure the HP that a cam/n2o 5th gen...but about what I was expecting against a bolt on 5.0. The SS was prob around 500 to the wheels... good runs though.

If a cammed 5th gen can't beat a bolt on 5.0 its got issues. A sprayed cammed should pull hard. This was better then thought. The 5.0 has some to gain with a better tune. But will not make it up against the camaro.

vvt-1 cam, pasetter headers, stock mufflers (straight through and makes no difference), zex kit jetted to 41/24 (75 shot), x pipe replacing the stock res. this is my vehicle. and i was on 850ish psi on a full bottle, car was tuned on 1k psi. the wonderful zex bottle heater takes so long to heat i got impatient waiting. the vid at night my car in manual mode would still shift into the next gear while i assumed i had to paddle shift, so it would go from 2-4th as you can clearly hear in the video (i take responsibility for this user error) i discovered this after the fact and asked for a rematch the next morning which is the vid you see at the top post. this run was on 850psi on the bottle and i'm still ironing out the trans tune because you can hear the audible hickup between shifts i need to pull out some rpm so it wont hit the limiter. Jarheadtex nailed it right on the head and i'm in the 500hp area. if you have any other questions feel free to ask. i got a text saying my car was on this forum, i'm normally on camaro5


edit: forgot to mention i gave him his roll speed and the hit. if the other way around the outcome would be much worse.
