Default I'm a dumbass.....

First, let me say my accelerator cable broke last week.
Got the new one the other day, and just installed tonite. This is where it gets good
I got the new cable in and though I' check it out since I haven't touched after installing the LS motor.
I was only getting 3/4-7/8 throttle (closer to 3/4 ?....still had 1/2" of stroke ).
Just wonder how much I was giving up

Just a heads up to us swappers....double check and don't assume !!!

Giving up a little. Enough to usually notice at the op end. It happens man. A million things are going on swapping a engine.

LOL, I have done this on my car. Every time the carb gets unhooked it has to be reset and I found it only opening 3/4 a few times but it did not pick up much at all.
Front holes were all the way open and secondaries were about 1/2 or a lil more.
Now I put it to the floor and have my father check to see if there all the way open.

These are little lessons that we all have to learn along the way!

I told you it was a restriction of some kind, didn't I !? I just didn't think it was a brain restriction holding you back ! LOL JK. That's a huge development, Doug. Good times are coming your way now, my friend. Id say a few HPs are to be had, IF you are actually opening the throttle. Hello 10s !!
