Default LS motor, slicks and oil supply...

What's the proven facts with LS-motors on car running slicks, in terms of long turns and risk of oil starvation?

Is a dry sump, needed?
Is a baffled oil pan proven to be enough?

I've never had the problem myself, bu I understand an Accusump system might be an option.

My owner's manual for my Z06 recommends putting an extra quart in addition to the recommended level. I believe it calls for 5.5 quarts, so adding the additional would be 6.5. I've always done it before an event.

Is the improved racing baffle nessecary if only doing autocross? I was planning on doing some track days but it's probably not gonna happen now.

not for autox. i wouldnt even bother with adding an extra quart. you dont have the long, high G turns in autox that you do on a track.

i never did anything extra to my TA regarding oil when i autoxed

I like the truck oil filter idea ...probably easier to install to.

i add extra oil for my track days, not a full quart but close...
