Default 95 Z28 programming cable

My ??? quit working. I'm assuming it's the adapter box/cable. (Or pilot error.) Need to start somewhere. Anyone know where I can find a schematic for the adapter box? On my laptop this has always worked on Comm 5 if I remember correctly? All I get is no hardware found. Any way to check this? I might just have something set wrong, but Tuner Pro RT and Free Scan both worked and today nothing. I tried a search here and found nothing. Thought this was beat to death some years ago...

Thanks,

Found my error. It's Com 6 not 5. Now to figure out how to change the Com port in TunerPro RT.

If it's a USB cable, then it will have a different com port assignment for every usb port you use on the computer. You can go into device manager and go to ports, then you select the port and you can change it's assigned number, or plug it into it's original usb port, or find the setting in all your software that references it.
