We need a lot more information. Max RPM, Shift RPM, 1/4 or 1/8 mile, expected trap speed.......

For reference, I have 3.89 gears and a lot more stall than you in a PG. we are trapping mid 170ish and cross a little north of 8K.

4.10s would probably be ideal to hit 110 at 6800 in 1/8th

Id say stick with the 3.89 if you already have them, you should be just a little bit lower RPM

I would try what you got, and go from there. I had 3.08, 3600 stall but my car weigh 4000, and cross at 5900 rpm, I changed to 3.42 and I gained 4tenths, and rpm at 6200-6300. Small AR turbo like tall gears, large AR turbos seem to small gears. There still a lot more to consider.

I've got 3.23's and 1.76 glide. Been 132 almost 133 in the 1/8 and 164mph 1/4 on rev limiter before finishline. With my looser high altitude converter and 28" tires it was right around 6800rpm at 1/4. Will be switching to 3.08's soon for 1/4 and 3.73's for 1/8 mile runs. We'll see what changes.

Depends alot on your converter slippage as well. Id see 20%+ slippage around 6k on cheap converters. Around 4-6% With the nice units...
