Default Full Flow -8AN/-8AN In-tank twin setup, Holley Hi Ram, Walbro 450s

Pictures speak 1000 words so here are the pics. If needed I can switch to triples down the line if these 450s can hack it. Teflon lines. Could probably have gotten away with a smaller return but for the price it wasn't that much more to go with the -8 all around. Hope this helps some. I will post up a material list later.

I added a spring to the top of this filter to make sure it would not slip out of place as it is just an oring slip fit.

You have part numbers for all the materials used?

Is this still the venerable chrs1313 stock bottom end setup, or are you going to a forged motor? BTW, do you happen to have a clear shot of the Holley Hi-Ram setup (showing the firewall)? Thanks.

First off bad *** as always..quick question What kind of wire setup do u run to the pig tails coming off the pump..just curious I've seen People on here talking about they draw a lot of amps and I was wanting to do twin 450s so I would never have to touch my pumps again

How much HP do you anticipate this setup will handle?

No it will be a different motor, we dropped my old stock bottom end setup into my dad's car, I will get some pics up tomorrow for you, it is the MWC cowl delete kit...there is a ton of room now...

Thanks...I plan to use the same size or a gauge larger than what is currently be ran with each pump...each pump, will have its own relay and hotwire kit ran to feed off the alternator and relay will be triggered by the stock wires...both pumps will be running all the time...there is currently no room for a third pump without modifying the top of the tank to get it to fit but if I needed one I would make it work...have to cut and seal it up and most likely run the third off a boost Hobbs switch around 1-2psi...

I am using pump gas and race fuel so no e85 right now...should be good for around 1300-1400rwhp...we shall see though what kind of ***** these pumps have...should have a hair more head room than 3 255s

Just going by the graphs at 80psi (22psi boost with 58psi base pressure) 2 450s will do 656lph while 3 255s will do 570lpm...bump that to 85psi (27psi boost with 58psi base pressure) 2 450s will do 596lph while 3 255s will do 540lpm...

Gotcha. I've seen their kits, do they keep the stock glass? You think there's a snowball's chance in hell of clearing the stock glass without the cowl delete?

Sweet, does he have an Fbody too?

I don't believe you can keep the stock glass with the delete kit...believe it drops like 40ish lbs at least...I got a 10 point cage in at the same time and just going off memory of what Eric said it would drop...but even if it dropped no weight I would have done it for the cleaness of it and accessibility of everything...

Yeah I believe it will clear stock glass but you will need to cut up the cowl...I believe I have seen more than a few that made it work...worst case you can trim the glass slightly or drop the k member down but I don't think you will have to...

As for my old mans car here it is with new setup (my old one )

Damn, sweet setup. But to fit that under a stock cowl would be an exercise in futility.

This is how the factory cowl should come from the factory instead of overhanging.
