ACE Racing Transmission 4L60E
This transmission was built about 2 years ago by ACE transmissions locally here in Dallas and has several upgrades to the original. The list of all parts in the transmission can be found here.
It is the stage 1 build and has about 1000 miles on it.
Shortly after I had the transmission rebuilt, the engine developed a loud knock and which prompted me to tear the engine apart, and the transmission has been sitting for a little over 2 years due to this.
There are a couple of issues that I will mention up front.
The first is that the transmission range switch will need to be replaced. I damaged it getting it out of the truck.
The second is the oil pan plug head is stripped.
When the transmission was removed, it ran very well.
The torque converter was re-stalled from factory specs and increased to 2500, it has around 70-80K miles on it.
The pressure control on this was switched over to a manual check valve type, so you would need to hook it up to the vacuum system.
If anyone would like more pictures of it, send me a PM.
I am asking $1000
I would prefer not to ship, but am willing to entertain if there is interest.
4L60E Flywheel
Also I have a stock flywheel for a 4L60E. $50
LQ4 Set of pistons and rods
Lastly, I have a full set of pistons and rods for a LQ4.
These have about 100-120K miles on them. They are in good shape, but need cleaning. $100

Darn. Well I will ask here. What prompted you to pull the rods from a good running engine. Do the pistons come with the rings and rod bearings? I have an LQ4 with a spun rod bearing or two, so this would save me some grief.

No problem man.
I pulled the engine apart because I wanted to go to a 408, so I no longer needed the stock rods and pistons.
Yes, I have the bearings for the rods and the rings are still on the pistons.
I think these would be perfect for you. Let me know and I will PM you my paypal address.
