Default Injectors/Fuel Pump Questions

Ok so here is my questions. I have almost completed my new long block. I am looking for information on injectors and fuel pump.

408 CI N/A
11:5 to 1 CR
Ported Fast 102 with a 102 intake and 100MM maf
TSP 1 7/8" headers and ORY with Magnaflow catback.

1. What size injectors are needed. I've been told by a few buddies that the injectors will need replacing with larger ones but I am unsure of the correct size.

2. Fuel pump I was either thinking of either a boost a pump or a new Walbro255 pump cant decide. If I decide on the new Walbro will it fit in the factory bucket without any modifications? If not what has to be done to make it work correctly? Is there one that does not require and modifications?

Thanks,
Eric

no boost a pump. Walbro 255 and 50# (@ 43.5psi) injectors; FYI, a 255 walbro will only pump enough to keep up with 8 x 51LB/hr injectors (See fuel & injector sticky). I would advise a 300LPh pump and 50# @43.5psi injectors and you would be done for good.

What power do you think you will make? 650?
I'll put it this way, 650HP N/A equates roughly to 52# injectors (via RCENG website calc) having 50# injectors rated 43.5psi and running them at 58psi would make them 57# injectors.

Done. If you wanted further breathing room, grab some 60# and have enough fuel pump to back it up...for instance a 340Lph pump

ZL1Killa, Thanks for your response.
As far as power I am hoping to make around 530 to the rear wheels N/A. I may put some giggle juice on it later on prolly just a 100 shot.
I ran across a new set of 60# injectors yesterday from a buddy that was going to use them on his turbo set up but they were too small. So if these will work then I would like to pick them up and use them.

just make sure to have enough pump to keep up with them at whatever pressure you use them at.

JP, I ended coming across a almost ( less that 250 miles ) set of DEKA 80 # injectors from a good buddy and bought them. As for the fuel pump I bought the racetronix kit from the WS6 store. I got the new wiring harness and the upgraded ground wiring as well. Hopefully I'll have everything together in the coming few weeks. I've had some issues with the crankshaft reluctor wheel . Had to pull the motor twice hopefully this time is the last time!!!

Thanks! Yeah seen you have been having trouble to say the least.
Hopefully I won't run into any problems. What heads do you have?
Or do you have a build thread? I'll keep an eye on you getting that reluctor
Figured out.
