As far as I can tell, The stock F-body uses 3/8" plastic fuel line, stem to stern, with push lock connectors.

Has anybody had a failure of these stock components? Particularly while racing?

I know there's been some failures of aftermarket parts. Especially the adapters for AN lines. But I'm wondering about the stock GM components.

Supply is 3/8, return is 5/16 (93-98 Fbody. 99-up Both are 3/8). I can't say I've seen a serviceable OE fuel line retainer blow off. The newer Russell EFI to AN adapters with the retainer nut are alot safer:
