Default Identify this rear end please

Sorry everyone if this is stupid. A google search and a forum search here got me nothing. I bought a 02 ws6 about 5 months ago. I believe the rear end was changed at some point. I noticed the car doesnt have posi and could be from wear or this rear end not being a posi one.

Its stamped 40006655 SHF 1 2086.

Any input is appreciated.

Thanks Kenny.

The plan is to get a set up to handle 500hp range. it keeps leaking even after the gasket got replaced. Its also leaking from one of the torque arm bolts. The one wheel wonder has to go. I dont even know what gearing my car has either.

that's the casting part number and has nothing to do with what's inside.
