Default cam only 5th gen vs full bolt on 5.0 coyote!

The Camaro has 200 lbs worth of audio equipment and subs, so probably weighs right at 3900-4000 lbs. The Mustang has gutted trunk and no spare tire/jack so 3500-3600. Seems like the Camaro pulled when it went into its powerband, but every shift he fell out of it and had to wind it back out then starts inching away again(so ended up being dead even basically; the camaro just has a peakier powerband with the cam IMO, going 2-3 he falls down to 4000 rpm). Here's the vid.

458 whp 3900-4000 lb car vs 417 whp 3500-3600 lb car with short gearing.

My guess is that it would not be pretty for him if that happened.

Another disappointing 5th gen.Ibut from what I have seen they need a cam to run with true full bolt on 5.0s.

I disagree, my bolt on 5th gen has pulled many bolt on coyotes and "cammed" 5th gens

Don't get me wrong coyotes are beast with the "RIGHT" setup as well as some bolt-on 5th gens. Mine is setup for the streets but run mid 7s in the 1/8 mid high 11s in the 1/4 on the stock cam. My buddy's bolt-on 5th gen runs 11.40s and 7.20s in the 1/8th and some cammed 5th gens can't touch his times lol

He clearly has the fastest 5th gen in the world, so you need to respect him and do not tell jokes/be sarcastic.
