1999 SS hood clearance question...help I have a 99 SS and I'm having it repainted, so I have decided with my 408 I would like to run a Holly Hi ram. I know I have read that it won't allow the hood to close, so I like the look of a cowl induction hood on these cars anyway... How tall will it need to be to clear? Will a 3" or 4" be enough? Anyone that has done this would be very helpful, thanks John.
