I have the inter cooler mounted and and all driver side piping installed. I will be mounting the head unit today as well as the passenger side piping. Think it would be ok to go ahead and install the Racetronix hotwire and pump with out tune? I have 60lb injectors but I wont put those in until I get to the tuner. I could prolly finish today but I am still waiting on my Super damper to come in the mail.

You'll still make enough power to have a fun fast car

Good luck with the rest of the build.

Finished today. Just waiting for my Super Damper to come in and I will have it all hooked up and ready for tune. Any guesses what the total HP will be?

what dyno will it be on.

what is your compression ratio.

what cubes.

what is your pulley size

crank pulley size.

automatic or 6 speed

10 bolt or 9 inch

what size cam.

running any methanol?

start there and can get you in the ballpark.

allout made 571 on 5.5 psi

i made 600 on 9psi.

alchemist made 750+ on 16 with a boost leak and conservative timing.

we were all d1. but that p1 should get you to 550 to 600 easily. enough to max out that single racetronix here soon.

ill take a guess and say roughly 575 depending the boost you see. could go 15hp+/-. either way, they are a blast to drive on the street. enjoy.

my buddy had almost that exact setup and he made 550/570ish(I dont remember the exact torque) out of his p1, then he sold it and went turbo lol. Like everyone else said they are a ton of fun on the street!

Are you still in Hawaii? Unless things have changed in the last 4 months (Just moved from there after 4 years) there weren't any E85 stations and 10.5:1 is not going to allow you to run too much boost on Hawaii gas.

Is that the Hobby Shop on Schofield?

Yes still in Hawaii. Been here since 2008. I leave in couple months for the main land. That Hobby shop i was at is the one on MCBH. I dont plan on any more than like 8psi. When i get to where im going to turn it up a bit.

I would think that 8psi would be near the limit on stock compression motor at least on Hawaii gas.
