Use F/R O2 sensors with long tubes The shop doing my long tube header install cut 2 out of the 4 o2 sensor wires trying to extend them(w/o success). I have 2 good sensors left to use, sinse my vette has a total of 4 o2 sensors. Will it matter if I use the fronts or rears...are they all the same?

Use them. Some years the rears are higher voltage than the fronts (WHICH ARE 75)and in the case of the LGM tubes you have to move the rears up front as the new front position is further back than it used to be and having the old rear sensor hooked up in that position is a benefit. THEN just run simms in the back.
LGM recommends this and it works.

Yea, I'm F*CKED! The shop doing my install cut and spliced the wires to the rear o2 sensors.....I just ckecked w/ GM and they cost $167 each=$334
BTW-you were right, LG only reccommends rear sensors w/ their LT's for the reasons you said.

Also now that I'm at this point.....is it possible to solder these wires back together? I have 10 years experience w/ normal and high temp silver soldering.So the correct tools are not a problem.

BTW- I just called a friend who works at O'reily and he said his cost was $44 each for the rears. Brand is "BOSCH", do you think they are good?

They are pricey but do not sweat it. It is not uncommon to throw front sensor codes after a longtube install , insufficient switching, etc...especially in cold weather. Either they get damaged when out (they are delicate) or the sensor assumes a new position relative to the old ones and this causes problems due to being old and carboned up. So the fix (if you cannot clean them with a few good dyno runs) is new sensors unfortunately.
